MEPs, join our Ocean Lab in the Parliament!
The Blue NGOs are excited to invite Members of the European Parliament and their teams to an exclusive opportunity to talk with leading scientists and experts on the critical challenges our Ocean and European seas are facing. This event is a chance to bring back hope and boost ambitious EU leadership facing the triple crises of climate, biodiversity, and pollution.
At the Ocean Lab you will be guided through five core topics: Pollution and Health, Biodiversity and Climate Change, Energy Transition, Fisheries and Food, and Sustainable Blue Economy and Just Transition. The event features experts from across Europe, including oceanographers, ecotoxicologists, biologists, and NGO experts based in Brussels and EU Member States.
The OceanLab will kick off at 8.30am and close with a reception at 6pm, organised by Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Christophe Clergeau.
Please note that you can drop in at any time. Our experts will be there throughout the whole day, so you can come whenever it suits you and stay as long as you like/can.
