Fighting for better marine protection one case at a time

MPA Legal Workshop

16 June, 12pm-5pm ON-LINE & IN PERSON, Brussels

We would like to welcome eNGOs to the second half of the day, which will be used to shape and define the three joint marine asks in light of the upcoming release of the nature restoration law. The event will be held in the Comet meetings room in Louise, 20 Place Stephanie, but online participation is also a possibility.

The main objectives of this workshop are :

  • to provide Marine eNGOs with a training on how to use EU environmental legislation to build legal cases against EU member states,

  • to provide the participants with first hand knowledge what it means to table a lawsuit,

  • as well as to work with national partners on legal action work plans.

You need to register to attend the event. If you are not part of an eNGO but would like to participate, please contact Marc-Philip Buckhout at mpbuckhout@seas-at-risk.org.

The event is held by Seas At Risk, Oceana and ClientEarth.
